Refund policy

Refund policy.

Deposits are refundable.

When you reserve a Zugboard, you place a $99 deposit. It is a deposit — not the full payment. The balance of $400 is charged to the card you saved at reservation, approximately 14 days before your unit ships.

Your deposit is fully refundable at any time before we capture the balance. Email support@zugboard.com with the email you used at checkout and we will refund within five business days.

Expected ship window

We currently expect to ship the first wave in Late 2026. Manufacturing hardware honestly takes time. We will email a manufacturing update every quarter. If the window slips, you'll know in writing — and your deposit remains refundable.

If we cancel the project

If we are unable to deliver and decide to cancel the program, we will issue a full refund of every collected deposit within 30 days of the announcement. We will be transparent about risks in our quarterly updates so this is never a surprise.

After your unit ships

Once your unit has shipped, refunds follow our standard return policy: 30-day return window from delivery, original condition, customer pays return shipping unless the unit arrived defective. Defective units are replaced or refunded at our cost.

How to request a refund

Email support@zugboard.com from the address you used at checkout. Include the order ID from your reservation email. We respond within two business days and refund within five.
